Community Service Organizations
If you are a school, a homeless shelter, an after school program for challenged kids, a church, a community radio station or any other not-for-profit or municipal community service organization, we have a program, the TLC Community Fundraising Program, designed to help you financially advance your mission, especially when it comes to better utilization of the Web to inform, promote, and connect.
The process of participation is simple:
You volunteer to help us promote The Library Channel with your members and affiliates and in your community, and potentially do other things like add links in Community Web Collections and maintain content specific to your service expertise in community information template(s) that we provide.
We Support You By:
  • Training you to promote The Library Channel and if applicable add links (this will take one - two hours).
  • Conducting community fundraising on your behalf (As we sell our Library Channel services in your community, we will give our business customers the option to earmark a portion of their Library Channel fees as a donation to your organization. We call this the TLC Community Fundraising Program).
  • Promoting The Library Channel in your community and in other communities nation-wide (we are developing and managing a team of sales and support personnel that will have the capacity to facilitate Library Channel Services nation-wide).
